Let's go into telltale signs of fake geodes.

1. Unnaturally Perfect Symmetry:

Natural Geodes:  Real geodes, which have been formed over millions of years inside volcanic rocks, will always be slightly asymmetrical. The crystals inside may not be perfectly symmetrical or of equal size.
